Lillian M. Turcato

97, of Windber went to heaven on November 19, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband Pompelio; her two sons Anthony and Robert; her parents Stephen and Anna (Toth); brothers Stephen, Frank, Paul, Joseph, John, and Andrew; and sisters Anna Milthaller, Margaret Romboy, Elizabeth Magyar, and Julia Alex.  Survived by her two grandsons Nicholas and Mark, sister Irene Makuch, and sister Theresa Costa. Lillian was a life-long resident of Windber.  She worked many years for Bestform until retiring in 1984.  She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Anthony of Padua.  She loved to cook traditional Italian and Hungarian dishes, and she made sure there was a meal on the table for family and friends.  She had touched many lives in her 97 years.  Friends are welcome to attend Lillian’s funeral mass celebrated 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 3rd at St. Anthony’ s Church, Windber, Fr.
