Faher, Joseph A., "Joe", 79, Windber, passed away June 17, 2022 at Windber Hospice. Born November 24, 1942 in Windber, son of the late Joseph P. and Margaret D. (Solomon) Faher. Survived by son, Joseph Faher, Albion, PA; step children, Kevin Griffin married to Lisa, West Virginia; Bridget married to Mike Leonard, Davidsville; brother of, Margaret E. Faher and friend, Craig Dietrich, Windber; Julie married to Walt Kielman, Seekonk, MA; Duane Faher married to Fran, Windber; also by numerous nieces and nephews. Joe loved Windber, he was the proud owner of Town Tavern in Windber with his sister Margie, and enjoyed to spend time with friends at their bar. Joe was a people person who enjoyed memberships at various clubs and organizations in Windber, Richland, Geistown and Johnstown. He was an avid collector of cars and guns. Joe's family wishes to thank his caregivers Pat Stanton and Sandy Strenko for their outstanding care. At the request of Joe, viewing and service will be private for his family at the Funeral Home.
