John Dominick Fuschino

Fuschino, John Dominick, 75, Windber, passed away July 5, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born November 13, 1946 in Somerset, son of the late Dominick and Mary (Fusina) Fuschino. Preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Donald Fuschino; sisters, Phyllis Skobel, Lillian "YI" Stevenson and Carol Taylor. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Barbara A. (Toma) Fuschino; son, John Michael Fuschino married to Susan, all of Windber; daughter, Amy married to Brett Markle, Ligonier; grandchildren, Nicole Fuschino, Lauren Markle and Logan Markle; sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Hull, Summerhill; Marie Bloom, Hooversville; Gloria Fuschino, Windber; Teresa Petronick, Hooversville; and Erma Mayak, Somerset; also by numerous nieces and nephews. John was a graduate of Forbes High School in 1964, upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam. 
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and enjoyed going to Casinos in Atlantic City with his wife Barb. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who was a true family man who cherished his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He was a devout Catholic, faithful life member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8p.m. Tuesday, July 12th at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, where vigil service will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 13th at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, Fr. Rod, where committal and military honors will by Windber VFW.
