Wyandt Sr., Ray G., 76, Windber, passed away peacefully March 30, 2024 at home. Born January 10, 1948 in Johnstown, son of the late William and Elsie (Hicks) Wyandt. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Connie E. (Rummel) Wyandt, Windber; son, Ray G. Wyandt Jr., Johnstown; daughter, Lisa L. married to Randy McDannell, Windber; grandchildren, Luke (Stephanie), Jacklyn (Jake), Brady and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Jaidyn, Aleigha, Jax and Emma. Ray was a 1967 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. He worked for Laurel Ford for 20 years, formerly an employee of Johnstown Steel Corporation, various Coal mines, Burnworth Auto and Wyandt's One Stop. Member of the Mine 42 Citizen's club and Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber. Ray loved his WWE wrestling and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and restoring classic cars. Ray loved spending time with his family and k-9 companion, Daisy. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4th at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber. Friends received from 10:00 a.m. to time of service held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5th at the funeral home, Rev. Dan Shaffer, officiating. Private burial will be held at All Faith's Chapel, Mausoleum & Cemetery, Richland Township.
