Marilyn Ott Obituary
Ott, Marilyn, L., 72, Cincinnati, Ohio formerly of Windber, passed away February 29, 2024. Born March 29, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Harry F. "Bud" and Charlotte (Stanko) Horner. Preceded in death by brother, Paul Horner; and infant sister, Peggy Horner. Survived by loving son, Eric Ott married to Vani, Cincinnati, Ohio; loving daughter, Jennifer married to Carl Newfield, Cresson; grandchildren, Nicholas Ott, Neil Ott, Neena Ott, Kylee Newfield and Brenden Newfield; brother, Michael Horner married to Sandy, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Windber until moving to Ohio. Marilyn was an avid reader and book collector. She enjoyed puzzles and making needlepoint crafts for her friends and family. She will always be remembered for her humor, her hardworking attitude, and her kindness to others. Marilyn loved her family, friends, and pet dogs. She was a Cancer survivor and will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends Saturday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Funeral service outside of mass held at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber, Fr. Rod, officiating. Committal St. Anthony Cemetery, Windber.
