William "Bill" Yost

Yost, William E. “Bill,” 62, Davidsville, formerly of Windber.  Passed away Sept. 7, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born Apr. 4, 1953 in Windber.  Son of Richard W. Yost, Sr., and Verna (Snyder) Jones.  Preceded in death by father, sister Catherine Yost, brother Richard Yost, Jr., and step-daughter Laura E. McCoy. 

Survived by mother, wife Beatrice E. Barnes-Yost, children Jen, wife of Russell Boyer and Kimberly, wife of  Jason Schropp, Windber, step-children Katherine, wife of James Hollis, Johnstown, Betty Ziegler, Ft. Myers, Fla, Melvin Harr, Windber, Tara Mosorjak, and friend Rob Williams,Portage, and Jessica Davis, Cape Coral, Fla. Numerous grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.  Siblings Ray Yost and wife Pienne, North Dakota, Robert Yost and wife Sharon, Mechanicsburg, Gwen Miller, and friend Dennis, Johnstown, Eric Yost and wife Dawn, Windber.

Bill enjoyed Nascar, fishing, riding his motorcycle and his pets.  Army Veteran, Vietnam.

He was employed as a forklift driver for McQuaide Inc., Johnstown.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.  Rev.
