Viola M. (Green) Carrara

Carrara, Viola M., (Green), 86, Windber formerly of Johnstown died Oct. 14, 2015 at home. Born Nov. 24, 1929 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jolina A. Carrara, son Gabriel Marks Carrara, and grandson Joshua Richard Dovala. Survived by these children: Jolinda A. Carrara, Jr., and Adrianne Wagner, both of Johnstown and Catherine, wife of Tony Ott, Youngstown, OH. Grandmother to Darla Wagner, Odessa Clark, Kendra Favor, and Derek Clark. Great grandmother to ShaLynn Monique Favor, Shemar Remy Favor, Kaleb Theys, Kainan Santuci, Madison Wilson-Clark and Jayden Wilson-Clark. Vi loved playing bingo and going to cascinos. She loved taking care of her children. She was always there for them. She loved Milkyway Bars and Vanilla Wafers. Member of Homestead Avenue UMC. Friends received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Pastor Dave Streets, officiating.
