Thelma L. Jacobs

Jacobs, Mrs. Thelma L., 87, Windber, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 23, 2018. Born Jun. 5, 1930 in Windber. Daughter of Walter and Elizabeth “Bessie” (Knarr) Smith. Preceded in death by parents, husband Arthur, and siblings Walter, Harold, Wilbur, Grace, Ruth, and Helen. Survived by daughter Susan, wife of Alan J. Korzi, Windber. Grandsons Alan S. Korzi and wife Sharon (Spickler) and Paul Korzi, both of Johnstown. Great-grandchildren Tyler and Avery Korzi. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Member Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber. Thelma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber and from 10 until time of service at 11 am Tuesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber. Pastor Heidi Helsel officiating. Interment Richland Cemetery.
