Richard W. Yost, Jr.

YOST – Richard W. Jr., 53, Windber, passed away May 18, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 29, 1961, in Johnstown, son Richard W. Yost Sr. and Verna A. (Snyder) Jones. Preceded in death by father and sister, Catherine Yost. Survived by mother; siblings, Ray, and wife, Pienne, North Dakota; William, and wife, Bea, Johnstown; Robert, and wife, Sharon, Mechanicsburg; Gwen Miller, and friend, Dennis, Johnstown; and Eric, and wife, Dawn, Windber. He was a Windber graduate, Class of 1979, and worked in the maintenance department at Windber Area High School. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Pastor Joe Brown, officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to his mother, Verna Jones, 504 First St., Windber, Pa. 15963, in memory of Rich.
