GOHN – Mrs. Malta “Molly” E., 100, Windber, passed away Oct. 19, 2015, at Golden Living Nursing Care Center, Richland. Born Feb. 5, 1915, in Windber, daughter of Petro and Elisa (Antonacci) Vespa. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Bruce “Boots” Gohn; and siblings, Clotilda Vespa, Anita DiCamillo, Edith Senella, Eugene Vespa, Adam and Louis Cicciarelli. Survived by daughter, Kathleen, wife of James Miller, Windber; grandchildren, James E. Miller Jr., Lake Dallas, Texas; and Elissa L. (Miller) Lee, Lusby, Md.; great-grandchildren, Michael, McKenna, Benjamin and Allison Adams; and nephews, David DiCamillo, and wife, Monica; Thomas DiCamillo, and wife, Beth; Francis DiCamillo, and wife, Judy; Michael DiCamillo; Thomas Senella; and Patrick Murphy. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. She was owner and operator of Molly’s beauty shop, Windber, for more than 57 years, where retired at the age of 94. Molly was a very good seamstress. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Golden Living and AseraCare hospice for their excellent care of Molly. Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
