Mary "Mecca" Miller

Miller, Mrs. Mary E., “Mecca” 75, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Windber.  Passed away May 13, 2016 at home.  Born Jan. 18, 1941 in Windber.  Daughter of Michael and Mary (Boruch) Fedor.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Theodore, infant daughter Lori, and brother Michael.  Survived by daughter Sandra, wife of Mark Geiser, grandchildren Samuel, Timothy, and Rachael Geiser, all of Dillsburg.  Siblings Sister Mary Ann Fedor,  Columbus, OH,  Irene Hordubay, Penn Hills, Pittsburgh, Anne, wife of Nelson Clark, Butler, PA, and Kathy, wife of Riley Wise, Waynesboro, VA.  Also numerous nieces and nephews.  Retired from Barnes Saly and Co.  Former part-time accounting instructor at University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.  Attended Calvary United Methodist Church, Windber.  Member of the Arcadia Theater Guild, Windber, where she worked in the box office.  Mecca was an active member of Country Meadows Retirement Community, Mechanicsburg.  She enjoyed playing games and spending time with her grandchildren and also going on vacation with her family.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday.  Rev. John Snyder, officiating.  Interment Richland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice, 150 Scharberry Ln, Mars, PA 16046 or the Arcadia Theater, 1418 Graham Ave., Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Mecca.
