Marcella J. Purelli

Marcella J. "Dolly" Purelli (Anderson), age 81 of Windber passed away peacefully on February 18, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center.  She was born on April 4, 1934 in Windber a daughter of the now late Charles and Elizabeth (Kovach) Purelli.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Luther Anderson in 1970 and brother Charles D. Purelli.

She was the loving mother to six children; Deborah, wife of Terry Greathouse, Gail, wife of John Boring, Seanor, Elizabeth, wife of Bill Killinger, Portage, Brenda, wife of Jeffrey Mathis, South Fork, Brian Anderson, and special friend Joni Susko, South Fork, and Dorothy, wife of Randy Gantt, New Bloomfield, PA  Dolly is survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and seven nieces and nephews.  She was the loving sister of Martha, "Dootsie", wife of Wayne Fleegle, Somerset.  She was a member of the "Breezewood Ladies".

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Church of the Brethren Home, Dr. Csikos, and the staff of Memorial Medical Center for their loving care.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday Feb. 21, 2015 at the Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, 1312 Graham Ave., Windber, PA.  The Rev. Valerie Conrad-Dembinsky, will officiate.  Private interment at Richland Cemetery at a later date.
