Joanne R. Seese

1. Seese, Mrs. Joanne R., 81, Davidsville, formerly of Windber.  Went to be with the Lord Feb. 27, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born Feb. 26, 1934 in Johnstown.  Daughter of the late Mabel (Byers) Otto.  Survived by her loving and devoted husband Norman Seese.  She is also survived by her 5 beloved children Jill, wife of Mark Sotosky, Windber;  Jack, married to the former Janice Brubaker, Punxsutawney;  Leland,  married to the former Melissa Longenecker, Everett;  Daryl, married to the former Rhonda Putman, Shippensburg;  and Rhonda, wife of Brian Weaver, London, UK.  Grandchildren Jessica, Justin, Matthew, Melissa, Joshua, Micah, Josiah, Carson, Connor, Wilson, Owen, and Alison.  Great-grandchildren Deklan, Cora, Lucy, and Andrew.  Joanne and Norm owned Seese Towing and the Dairy Queen in Richland for many years.  Joanne also worked as a PBX operator at the Mercy Hospital and later was a volunteer at Conemaugh Hospital. She loved her family, cooking, and flowers, and most importantly she knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior.  Please help us celebrate her 81 years of life and her eternal life with our Lord.  The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Chapel, Geistown, where she attended.  Pastors Wes Yoder and Andrew Taylor, officiating.  Interment Rummel Cemetery, Windber.
