Jeffery Allen Wright

Wright, Jeffery Allen, 54, Windber, died March 16, 2018 at home, surrounded by his family and friends. Born Feb. 12, 1964 in Johnstown. He is preceded in death by father Charles R. Wright, mother Dorothy L. Shauley and step-father Samuel Shauley, Jr. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years Wendy (Gary) Wright, loving daughter Janelle Wright and fiancé  Andrew Suttmiller, son Jeffrey Gombert, step-children Stefon Harris and Kara Anne Coleman. Grandchildren Addalyn and Camden Suttmiller, Akiira, A’laiila and Laron Coleman-Harvey. Brothers and sisters, Shirley, wife of Jeff Lwker, Sharon Rose of South Carolina, Barbara, wife of Terry Snider, Peggy, wife of Patrick Shaffer, Charles D. Wright, married to Cindy (Harr), Deborah, wife of Don McKendree, Janet, wife of Larry Goode, North Carolina and Richard E. Wright, married to Chrissy Domenick also of North Carolina. Step-brothers and sisters, Nicholas Shauley, Carol Bowers, Claire Skibo, Tonya, wife of Edward Frensley, Panama City, Robert Shauley, married to Robin Maurer, Frank Figard and wife Linda, Jane, wife of Walt Jastremski, Dewayne and wife Bonnie and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Jeffery went to Conemaugh Township School District. His passion was his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of the Windber Pool League and an avid fisherman and hunter.  Jeffery was a member of the Windber VFW Post 4795. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of service at 8 pm Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Rev. Stephen Moore officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Penn Hospice in memory of Jeffery.
