Isadora "Ducky" Helman

Helman, Mrs. Isadora M. “Ducky,” 81, Windber.  Passed away Jan. 18, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Nov. 19, 1933 in Windber.  Daughter of Isadore and Kathleen (Fox) McNulty.  Preceded in death by parents and these siblings Edward C., Clem, Eleanor Rich, and Kathleen Gardner.
Survived by husband of 61 years Robert, and sons Robert, Jr., married to the former Karen Lear, Lakeville, MN and Lance Helman, Julianne, PA.  Grandchildren Amber, Farmington, MN, Jason and wife Ashley (Berkey), Scranton, PA, and Jessica Helman, Pottstown, PA.  Great-grandson Tristan Webster.  Also sister Mary Lou Smith, Aurora, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
Member Windber Church of the Brethren and Windber Fire Co., Ladies Auxillary.  Ducky enjoyed making crafts.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10-10:45 a.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, until we leave for her service at Windber Church of the Brethren at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. Joe Brown, Pastor and Rev. Royden Airesman, officiating.  Interment Richland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Windber Church of the Brethren or Windber Volunteer Fire Co., in memory of “Ducky.”
