Irene Marie (Sulosky) Chessa

Chessa, Irene M., 54, Orlando formerly of Windber  passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2015.  Born Dec. 20, 1960 in Johnstown daughter of John and Helen (Turnick) Sulosky.  Also preceded in death by mother, sister Eileen Campagna and brother-in-law Michael Campagna.  Survived by husband Joe, sons Joey and Anthony, father, brothers John, married to the former Lisa Donato, and Ronald, married to the former Julie Kline, all of Windber, brother-in-law Raymond Chessa and wife former Cathy Bango and children, Johnstown, & sister-in-law Jean (Chessa) McKnight, and husband James, and children, Orlando.

Irene was a nursing instructor at Valencia College.  She transferred to Winnie Palmer Hospital, in the same role, upon the opening of their facilities.  She ended a 20 year career with Orlando Health as nursing operations manager of the 7th floor at Winnie Palmer.  Irene’s professional educational accomplishments include an associate’s degree in Science and Nursing from Valcenia Community College and a bachelor and master’s degree in Science and Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Meek  & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber.  Inurnment at All Faiths Chapel and Mausoleum, Windber.
