Marcinko-Magazzu, Mrs. Helen I. (Setlock), 96, Windber, passed away August 2, 2017 at Laurelwood Care Center, Johnstown. Born Dec. 9, 1920 Aultman, PA (Indiana County). Daughter of Stephen and Mary (Kosko) Truan-Setlock. Preceded in death by parents, husbands Andrew George Marcinko of Seanor and Grazier who were married for 28 years and Joseph Magazzu “wreckmaster” of Windber who were married for 35 years and son Andrew Marcinko, Jr. Siblings John, Joe, and Frank Truan, Mike, Stanley, and Edward Setlock, Josephine Worlowe, Mary Berish, and Frances Waynik. Survived by daughter Shirley (Marcinko) Donitzen, Davidsville and Edward Marcinko and wife Elaine Huska, Holsopple. Daughter-in-law Patricia Krupa, Holsopple. Grandchildren Cindy (John), Brooklyn, OH, Lorie (Terry), Johnstown, Andy (Kelly), Boswell, Kelly (Bob), Clinton, Lisa (Mark), Largo, Fla, Tammy, Davidsville, Joe (Pam), Frederick, MD, Jackie, Somerset, Ed (Aimee), Johnstown, and Jill (Joe), Pittsburgh. 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Helen was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Member St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. She was formerly employed by Johnny Jax factory, Holsopple. She loved her flowers, cooking, baking, canning, sewing, painting, and crocheting. Helen was a wonderful hostess, who enjoyed preparing for holidays and Sunday dinners. She touched many with her unique combination of wit, sincerity, and generous spirit. She always said she was blessed with a beautiful family and great neighbors. The family would like to sincerely thank Martina Vermeulin, the  nurses from Grane Hospice Care and the staff at Laurelwood Care Center for their tender care for Helen. Thank you to Dr. Csikos for years of attentive care he extended to Helen. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. Fr. Rod Soha, TOR, pastor. Committal Richland Mausoleum.
