Manges, Mrs. Florence M., 97, Windber. Passed away Sept. 1, 2016 at the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Nov. 26, 1918 in Windber. Daughter of Oscar and Cora (Younker) Lehman. Preceded in death by parents, husband George and brothers Lloyd, Wilbur, and Clarence Lehman and sister Ellen Wirick. Survived by sons Duane, and wife Ann (Adamchik) and Dennis, and wife Nancy (MacIntyre) both of Windber. Grandchildren Richard Manges, Maricopa, AZ, Cheryl, wife of Gary Weaver, Windber, Donald Koshute, and wife Meleia, Plainville, GA, and Amy, wife of Gerald Stone, Windber. Great-grandchildren Michael Weaver, Central City, Timothy Weaver, and wife Missy (Furry), Windber, Curtis and Eric Manges, Maricopa, AZ, Hayley, Bragdon, and Melody Koshute, Plainville, GA and Andrew Stone, Windber. Great-great grandchildren Austin and Cheyanne Weaver. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a lifelong member of Rummel Church of the Brethren, Windber, where she played the organ and sang in the choir. She also served as a deacon in her church. Florence loved quilting and sewing and playing volleyball and softball. She also enjoyed bowling. Special thanks to the Church of the Brethren Home, Windber, especially the staff at the 6th station for their excellent care of Florence. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber and from 10 am until time of service at 11 am, Wednesday at Rummel Church of the Brethren. Rev.
