Edward E. Stevens

Stevens, Edward E., 70, Windber formerly of Somerset died Mar. 1, 2015.  Born Dec. 18, 1944 in Somerset son of Grace Stevens.  Preceded in death by mother.  Survived by wife of 42 years former Joan A. Sulosky.  Also survived by in-laws John (Helen) Sulosky, Betty Sulosky, James (Diana) Sulosky, & Robert (Alice Roddy) Sulosky, all of Windber, & Norma Ickes, Mentor, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was an army veteran of Viet Nam War.  Formerly employed by former IXL Creamery, Friedens,  and former Sani-Dairy, Johnstown. After his retirement he worked for Advanced Cutting Systems and Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, both of Windber.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 & 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber where service will be held at noon Wednesday.   The Rev. Peter Helmers, officiating.  Interment Richland Cemetery with military honors by Windber VFW ritual team.  Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber, PA  15963 in Ed's memory.
