Donald W. Wissinger

Donald W. Wissinger, 75, of Richland Twp. died peacefully at home on July 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on December 25, 1940 in Scalp Level son of  the now late Byron "Ben" and Beatrice (Lehman) Wissinger.  He was preceded by a granddaughter Heather Miller.  He is survived by his wife former Monica Pallo and these children: Susan, wif of Al Incerpi, Carrollton, OH, Wendy, wife of Donald Miller, Osterburg, Michelle, wife of Mike Kauffman, Sinking Spring, PA and Joseph, married to the former Cindy Baumbaugh, Adams Twp.  Loving grandfather to Anyssa, Julie, Tara, Hannah, Brett, Samantha, Jonas, Jason, and Josie.  Also great grandchildren Giovanni and Parker Rose.  Also survived by numerous relative and friends and cats Annie and Sassy,

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Windber.  He taught social studies for 35 years at Richland High School.  He coached cross country, baseball, boys and girls basketball.  His biggest love was coaching basketball.  He was loved and respected by his students.  He also was an avid fisherman.  Lifetime member of PSEA.  He was a devoted grandfather.
