Donald E. Haley

HALEY – Donald E., 82, Windber, died Sept. 6, 2015. Born Oct. 1, 1932, son of late Leonard and Lula M. (Gottschall) Haley. Also preceded in death by loving grandmother, Lillian Haley, who raised him after the death of his mother, and sisters, Marjorie Rosintoski and Delores Koch. Survived by wife former, Rose Campitell; son, Donald A., Johnstown; and daughter, Sharon Kosnosky, Windber.  Grandfather to Kristyn Keller, Sean H#aley and Michael and Kara Kosnosky. Also survived by great-grandson, Westin Keller. Retiree of Berkbile Bros. Construction. Longtime member of Laborers’ Local 910.  Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where he was a longtime kitchen worker. He was an avid fisherman and bowler. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil service for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony’s Church, Father Rod, TOR. Committal, church cemetery.  Memorials may be made to either Windber Hospice or Alzheimer’s Association in Don’s memory.
